I haven't blogged because...

- I can't find my camera
- Its been too hot
- I've been busy

...all lame excuses...its actually 'cause I have once again lost my bojo*

I have made a matching tote bag to go with my overnight bag...but as I said I can't find my camera to show it off.

I have received a couple of emails from new and old readers though asking some questions about me. If you are a new reader, then welcome! And I'm so sorry I've been slack on the blogging front. If you would like to know a bit more about me I have posted an intro here. Please feel free to introduce yourself too! I have a notification thingy that tells me there are new comments on that post so I *will* read it (and reply).

Oh and for those who had questions about why I blog etc, then you might find Sharni's interview of me might answer your questions.

Now, I need your help. Please help me find my bojo! Do you have a topic you'd like to see me cover here? Give me a writing assignment please!

Anyway, I'm off to try and find my camera....and my Ben Folds, "Songs for Silverman" CD. *sigh* Its been one of those weeks.

Its Australia Day tomorrow! And I am proud to say that I do celebrate it.

I hope you are all well.

*Bojo = blogging mojo

oh No! I was wondering where you went Missy!!!

Ok Assignment for you:

What about something about protecting our kids from explicit material etc.. that is blatantly in their faces in newsagencies etc... I signed a petition I found on your blog once and I thought it was worthwhile and a really important issue... the amount of sexual messages in society is enormous and it worries me now I'm a Mama.

Hi Eileen,

I just wanted to bring this blog to your attention:
http://www.tartx.com/blog/?page_id=233

I have kept this link in my favorites and everytime I feel I 'have to' blog I just read it again, which helps.
I really like your blog, I like reading it and I like the way your ideas often are quite similar to mine (on the other end of the world).

PS My blog is mostly about quilting, I tend not to broadcast my way of live.

De-lurking here.

I've been reading your blog for a while since I found it via Simple, Green, Frugal Co-op, and I've enjoyed it very much.

I'm about to return to ONC (thanks for the acronyn) after 6 years away, and on a visit last week I found it much changed from the large country town I left - lots more evidence of consumerism, including a vastly expanded mall, huge Bunnings etc.

So what I'd like to know is what are your recommendations for good places to go to sustain the sustainable lifestyle. Where are the good markets, op-shops, free things to do etc. And are there groups of like-minded people I can join?

i would like to hear about...morality in food, i suppose. like, trying to find food that is environmentally sound and how one does that, because i am struggling a lot with that right now.

Hope the bojo returns E ;-)

I have found that time spent on any discussion forum steals my bojo. It provides inspiration too, but the instant gratification of sharing an idea on a forum kinda sucks dry any reflection I might have done on the subject on my own blog.

I have no obvious topic suggestions, I enjoy your content Eilleen, keep doing that beautiful thing you do.

Love love love Ben Folds here. Even our kids do! I'm learning how to play Cigarette on the piano at the moment. There are two really tricky bars in it (I'm a beginner player). Will have to ask my teacher about then on Saturday.

Love your blog. Don't mind what you post, whether it is something you've made, your musings on life, etc. Would probably love to hear more about your budget and ways you save money/consume less.
