I'm grateful for..

My Parents

I'm so grateful that no matter how old I am, my parents will always parent me. (and yes, at this moment, it is a comfort.)

Wonderful friends

Thank you for giving me coffee (hehe), for laughing with me, for distracting me and for listening to me. Thank you for offering yourselves.

With family and friends, my burdens are certainly much lighter.

Thoughtful gifts

The generosity of people never fail to touch me.

Mrs Duck Herder dropped this off for me... homemade hair conditioner and moisturiser! Its fantastic and I can now say I am sporting what Ducky calls "princess hippy hair - aka the how to shampoo like an eco warrior hippy and still look like a princess". I love it. Thank you so much.

My friend Jess at Button Beauty would have to be one of the most generous people I know. She is an inspiration. Jess, thank you for the most beautiful fabric offcuts!

And this fantastic package from my Nappycino upcycling swap - swapper still unknown. Thank you swapper, I love love it.

A seed organiser! I am looking forward to doing some planting this weekend. And this great book:

It is about a man and his wife who decided to give up technology for a year - so no electricity, no running water and no car. They went to live in a remote community "...so primitive in its technology that even the Amish consider it antiquated." I started to read it last night and have found it inspiring.

I'm so grateful to be surrounded by wonderful people and joyful things. Life beautiful. Thank you!

Oh dear! I saw the picture of the Nappycino upcycling swap and after I thought "Oh wow! black and white spots!" the next thing that crossed my mind was "but why does Consumption Rebellion need an iPod holder? And how the heck can she justify 12 iPods!"

Oh yeah, seeds. I see now... ;-)

Wow, I stumbled in here from a link at "These Days in French Life", and I'm loving your stuff. I was feeling down about piling up bills, and the "releasing the cows" entry really touched home. Thanks.

Me again lol

If you want a hint of who I am, there is a more unusual seed in your organiser. I have mentioned growing it in my most recent blog post . . . but you'll have to find my blog first!!!

I read that book 2-3 years ago...they lived in rural Missouri then, and I believe they live in the City of St. Louis now - here's an article about them: http://www.urbanreviewstl.com/?p=296
